GIGI & NATE longlisted for the 2022 VFX Academy Award
Delighted that GIGI & NATE has been longlisted for the 2022 Visual Effects Academy Award alongside AVATAR, TOP GUN: MAVERICK, THE BATMAN and JURASSIC WORLD : DOMINION.
Big congrats to our VFX Supervisor Scott Anderson, Grant Hewlett, Axis Studios VFX supervisor, Marion Evain, Axis Studios Lead CFX and Han-Ter Park, Axis Studios Animation lead and all the wider team at Axis Studio where the magic happens ! As probably the only truly independent film that is on the list, It’s fantastic to have the quality of the work recognised, especially given the very significant difference in VFX budgets on the longlisted films.
